Ivey Wins Over $2 Million… in August
Phil Ivey had the best August compared to the other high stakes regulars on Full Tilt Poker, pocketing over $2 million throughout the month. Gus Hansen was on the other side of the rankings, losing almost $3 million.
Phil IveyThe nosebleed tables at Full Tilt Poker saw quite a lot of action in August, as many of the well-known online pros were back in action.
According to Highstakesdb, Full Tilt pro Phil Ivey (pictured right) made the most profit last month, winning more than $2 million over 22,600 hands.
Daniel “jungleman12” Cates, Tom Dwan’s opponent in the new “durrrr Challenge” also had a good month, making about $1.1 million in less than 7,500 hands. jungleman12 is so far leading the challenge, having won almost $700k.
Speaking of durrrr, he also finished August with a profit, making around $737k in more than 50,000 hands played. On the other side of the ranking we see Gus Hansen, who recorded a deficit of more than $2.85 million after playing around 43,200 hands. Finnish pro Patrik Antonius was also on this list, after losing $815k in about 18,600 hands.
